How to import an EPS file into Inkscape

Inkscape is an open source drawing tool for creating and editing SVG graphics. While Inkscape can import and export several formats, there may be constraints when importing .EPS files.

A workaround for this is to convert the .EPS file into a .PDF using Ghostscript. Ghostscript helps you convert the EPS file data into vector data that Inkscape can manipulate. Once converted, you're able to edit the file and save it to SVG format.
